摘要(Abstract)：

脑卒中是全世界第二大死因,在我国脑血管病已升至首位疾病死亡原因,现患病人数高居世界首位,因其高发病率、高病死率和高致残率,给社会和家庭均带来沉重的经济负担。胆红素一直被认为是血红素氧化酶和胆绿素还原酶协同作用产生的血红素代谢废物。最近研究表明,胆红素是体内重要的内源性抗氧化剂,具有抗炎、抗氧化、抗动脉粥样硬化和神经细胞保护作用等特性,在脑血管病中发挥有益作用。本文就胆红素与脑血管疾病关系的研究进展作一综述。
